| Window Style available at Horsham Glass & Glazing |
At Horsham Glass and Glazing we offer a range of window styles to our customer. Different styles suit different customer and for a variety of purposes. Styles include: French Windows, Casement Windows, Box Sash Windows, Tilt & Turn Windows, and Secondary Glazing. |
|
| French Windows |
| French Windows are designed to open in the middle. Horsham Glass & Glazing's 58mm or 70mm French Windows add an extra dimension of light and space. French Windows give you a much bigger opening area than casement windows can provide, and can provide an elegant solution to meet fire escape regulations in situations that would otherwise require a large opening window sash. |
| Casement Windows |
| Casement Windows Casement windows are hinged on the side and swing out like a door. |
| Box Sash Windows |
Box Sash Windows slide vertically up and down. These are extremely popular in old and new houses in the UK. Originally sash windows were fitted to Victorian and Georgian properties.
Horsham Glass & Glazing can install an Authentic Looking Sliding Sash Window System for you. |
| Tilt & Turn Windows |
| The Tilt and Turn Window can either tilt inwards at the top, or can open inwards hinged at the side. Tilt & Turn windows give twice the benefits from the same window. These can be particularly useful for high use, as these can be cleaned inside and out, from within the building. Tilt and turn windows are ideal for fire escape. |
| Secondary Glazing |
Secondary Glazing is an independent system of glazing fitted to the inner, currently present, window frame. The gap between the outer and inner window determines the level of insulation, so that larger gaps give better insulation, particularly good to keep out unwanted noise.
